Form Technician Writer

Description:
Looking for a writer to assist in the drafting of policy form templates to support fulfillment for insurance products, including incorporating any state specific requirements based on filed and approved forms. Develops and maintains the state variability grid that provides a high level overview of the unique requirements for each state by form and product. Assists in maintaining forms control records for fulfillment. Assists with updates and maintenance of non-filed forms. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Forms drafting techniques; state department of insurance requirements; insurance products, including group Life, Dental and Disability.

Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to analyze the affects of state insurance regulations on company forms and create new or revised form templates to comply with state requirements; ability to prioritize work in accordance with established standards; ability to compare documents and identify variances; and ability to work independently. One year related experience in Compliance, Underwriting, Claims, Legal, Policyholder Services or Actuarial if hold related college degree; or, five years product-related experience.

Technology:
In depth knowledge of analytical tools and operating systems (Word, Excel, Sharepoint).

Education:
Undergraduate studies, paralegal, or related studies.
